BASKETBALL TRAINING FOR KIDS IN RIGA, LATVIA - ALL YEAR LONG!

KL BASKETBALL SKILL PRACTICES DURING SUMMER TIME

- For boys and girls
- Suggested age for participants: 10-16 year olds
- June 2nd till August 20th
- 70 practices available
- Practices every workday during the summer. 7.30 - 9.00, but during June, evening practices are also available!
- Flexible scheduling for participants. No need to participate in every training session
- Basketball and physical strength and conditioning practices
- All training sessions are 1h30min long
- Bonus system for attended practices
- Weekly MVP awards
- Guest lectures
- 1:5 Coach / Participant ratio !!!
- Training in the English language
- Fun and motivating environment
- 25 euro participation per practice

INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL PRACTICES WITH COACH OR IN SMALL GROUP

- For boys and girls
- Suggested age for participants: 10-18 year olds
- All year long
- The practice schedule is week to week
- 1:4 Coach / Participant ratio !!!
- Training in the English language
- Fun and motivating environment
- Basketball individual practices are
- All practices are 1h15min - 1h30min long
- Small groups - 1 coach 4 players max - 50 euro participation
- 1on1 with coach - Max development - 80 euro participation
- Training in the English language

- For boys and girls
- Suggested age: 6-12 year olds with no or little basketball experience
- Practices all year long
- Practices are usually on weekends 
- Location -  Rimi Olympic Center. Grostonas Street 6b
- Flexible scheduling for participants. No need to participate in every training session.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM KL BASKETBALL SUMMER TRAINING FOR KIDS? (10-16 year olds)

When others sleep - we train!

We are working with motivated young people ready to rise early in the morning to progress.... while others are sleeping.

Calendar

12 weeks of individual group basketball practices.

For girls and boys

We have observed that when boys and girls are practicing together - quality and intensity rises. 

Lectures for kids and parents

There are planned 6 guests this season who will share their experience about and around basketball.

Training fee

25 per training. 

Bonuss system for youngsters and parents

Wehave 6 step bonus system for participants.

Pro coaches

There will be a pro basketball coaches and pro players during the summe time in our practices.

From 10 - 16 years old

We have 1 coach to every 5 players in our trainings!!

🏀 This year, we're bringing you 12 weeks packed with 70 intense workouts designed to elevate your basketball skills to the next level. From refining dribbling, passing, and shooting to mastering game reading and footwork, we've got it all covered. Plus, we'll focus on enhancing physical strength and conditioning to ensure you're at the top of your game.

We're introducing two age groups this summer: "KL Basketball" for 10-16-year-olds.

WHAT BASKETBALL SKILLS ARE WE DEVELOPING?

THERE ARE PLENTY OF PROCESSES IN BASKETBALL THAT NEED TO BE CARRIED OUT AT GREAT SPEED, AND WHEN YOU'RE TIRED. SO THERE NEEDS TO BE A HUGE MOVEMENT BASE/EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL PREPAREDNESS TO MAKE IT ALL WORK. THATS WHY WE ARE HERE!

Dribble

We put an emphasis on a player's weak hand, because the weak hand is often a stumbling stone in basketball. As well as working on the strength and coordination in general.

KL BASKETBALL VISION

Our fundamental task is to develop the individual skillset of a player. We want to see our players in youth and adult national teams, and playing in university teams and professional teams.

Summer is the time the players have to grind their skills. The stereotype that summer is just for rest has to be broken. Our philosophy is to spend less time in the gym but to practice with a purpose!
